Steel Stiff Shaft
Like when players try to select new clubs, they must have your own swing and aims to make a selection from the shaft. We also need to know types of axes available. The choice of axes, for example, a player needs to know the speed of the swing, custom or ball trajectory is desired, the desired torque and duration the club. Based on this knowledge, a selection of the axis can be generalized between two materials, steel and graphite.
Steel v. graphite. The characteristics of the steel and graphite are very different. When comparing steel shafts and graphite shafts the same length, the steel shaft will be considerably heavier. Steel also has a score below par (described below) that graphite and as a result, you feel a bit more "BoArDy" with less Torsion of the shaft and club head during the swing. Steel is also durable which has no surface coating that can become scratched. Graphite rod are lighter and have a range of more torque that gives the player more options.
Flex and "Kick Point." Selection right axis depends heavily on swing speed. In general, the axes are in one of three or four categories flex: L (ladies), R (regular), S (stiff) and XS (extra strong). These terms are not universal. For example, Callaway Golf Uniflex uses words such as, firm, extra firm, and so on. Moreover, there is no industry standard regarding the speed of oscillation for each category of Flex. In general, the rates of swing with a driver who is by below 80 or 85 would require an investigation flex, while the speeds from 85 to 95 or 100 would have an S flex. Each manufacturer will have a set of swing speeds recommended for each of its bends.
The firing point, or bend point shaft helps determine the flight path of the ball. Axes either low, medium or high point kick. If you want a lower trajectory, choose a shaft with a high kick point. Moreover, if you need a higher trajectory, choose a low kick shaft.
Of torque. Note A shaft torque refers to the amount of rotation of the shaft and the clubface will be submitted during a swing. A higher value of torque means the shaft will feel softer, a lower grade will feel more rigid.
Shaft Length. The shaft length depends on the height, or more specifically, the distance from the bend of the wrist to the floor when standing upright. If the distance measures about 34 to 35 inches, the standard shaft length is most likely correct. True Temper, recognized as the leading manufacturer of axles, has a measuring scale to help make this determination.
There a lot of things to consider when selecting a new draft, however, a good retailer, online or otherwise, should provide information on the characteristics of an axis. They must also be able to help with determining the speed of your swing and the shaft length you need. Manufacturers will no doubt that the information available. With the correct axis, any player, regardless of skill level, will be happier with his game.
